Students on Stage Netlog campaign,Catholic University of Leuven
This year, in the run up to Marktrock 2010 in Leuven, the Catholic University of Leuven launched “Students on Stage”. A contest for young new musical talent. Seven bands selected by a jury will get the chance to play the gig of their lives at Marktrock 2010. The band that can convince the jury the most will also conquer the main stage of Belgium’s biggest city festival as opening act on saturday.
Students can register for “Students on Stage”, and upload a demo track (original work only, no covers allowed), through the Universities Netlog page http://netlog.be/kuleuven until August 1st. At least one of the band members must be a student or pupil between 17 and 24 years old. A professional jury will select six groups that will perform on the stage at the Vismarkt on friday. A seventh group will be chosen by the public through the “Students on Stage” Netlog application.

More than 50 groups signed up during the first week and gathered thousands of votes and feedback posts. Since it’s launch nearly 3000 teens between 17 and 19 years old made friends with the Catholic University of Leuven on Netlog, generating an average of over 1000 unique visitors per day. Due to this success Netlog decided to promote the “Students on Stage” application on the Netlog homepage!
A new website forInter Access Belgium
The new website for leading IT service provider Inter Access Belgium launched last week! In collaboration with Inter Access, LITIC developed the new Information Architecture and Graphical Interface for the website. It allows users to quickly gather information on Inter Access’ services, upcoming events, Corporate information etc. We also developed a custom Joomla template based on the new interface design, enabling a smooth Joomla integration by the Inter Access Staff. The website will be expanded in the coming months with additional information, photographs and screencasts. Stay tuned!
LITIC launches cartedor-diner.be
Together with the advertising agency Darwin/BBDO LITIC just launched the website www.cartedor-diner.be for the Unilever ice cream brand Carte d’Or. The website offers tips for a successful Dessert Dinner at home, the ability to share your own dessert creations and an overview of the available Carte d’Or ice cream range. In addition we developed a Facebook application that enables visitors to quickly and easily invite friend for their own Dessert Dinner stimulating the viral effect of the campaign.
